The Minister of "Higher Education" announces the availability of new ways of communication for international upcoming students to facilitates their enrolment in Egyptian universities and institutes.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced the availability of new and different ways to communicate with upcoming international students ,so as to facilitate the applying procedures to study in Egyptian universities and institutes for the new academic year 2020/2021. As a part of the initiative "Study in Egypt" to provide distinguished services to all the upcoming international students in a way that reflects Egypt’s standing position between the world’s countries .
Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar emphasis on the importance of facilitating the applying procedures so that students can register on www.wafeden.gov.eg by uploading their passport and certificate, students can use e-payment and send their files mail couriers to overcome the precautionary measures to deal with the ( COVID-19 ) pandemic which hinder traveling between countries . this procedures adopted by the ministry of education is to help and encourage students to save their spots during the academic year 2020/2021.
He directed that results will be announced within 3 to 6 working days from the date of admission. Students will be able to acquired their first choice as long as it meets all the requirements. He also assured that the capacity for international students will be increased in the Egyptian universities and institutes with the ability to transfer from foreign universities to Egyptian ones.Dr.khaled declared the importance of establishing departments to sponsor the international students and provide them with all the possible help they need.
For her part, Dr. Rasha Kamal, acting head of the central department for international student affairs in the ministry, pointed out that the Department has specified the wattsapp number 01098257891 and hotline 19064 to communicate and answer all their inquiries which is available to all international students inside and outside Egypt .
